Dr. Zhang Zhijiang is the representative of China Unicom in CDMA Development Group (CDG), and a member of 3G Test Expert Group. He has presided China Unicom 3G Network Technology Test (part of State 3G Test), Soft Switch Test, China Unicom Ipv6 Test (part of State Ipv6 Test).

Dr. Zhang Zhijiang guided and presided the construction of backbone telecom network, broadband data network, access network, supporting network, and other network, as well as major projects of 863 program related with telecom network security. He is the winner of many awards granted by provincial and ministerial departments, and the writer of more than 30 articles and several books.

He is Member of expert advisory panel of scientific and technological committee, Ministry of Information Industry; Member of expert panel for network access examination and approval of communication equipments, Ministry of Information Industry; Member of expert panel for evaluation of 3G mobile communication; Member of China Institute of Communications; Member of expert advisory committee of China Communications Standards Association; Visiting researcher of China Academy of Science.
