Xiaohu was born in August 25, 1962. He received
his Master Degree and Ph.D. Degree from Southeast University,
Nanjing, China, in Electrical Engineering in 1985 and 1988,
respectively. Since 1990, he has been working with National
Mobile Communications Research Laboratory at Southeast University,
where he held the rank of Professor and Department Chairman.
His research interests include mobile communications, adaptive
signal processing and artificial neural networks. He published
two books and over 20 IEEE Journal papers in the related areas.
From 1993 to 1997, he was engaged, as a team leader, in the
development of China¡¯s first GSM and CDMA trial systems. He
was the Premier Foundation Investigator of the China National
Science Foundation in 1998. From 1999 to 2001, he was on leave
from Southeast University, working as the chief director of
China¡¯s 3G (C3G) Mobile Communications R&D Project. As
the vice director of Expert Group of China¡¯s 863 Communications
Research Program, Dr. You is currently responsible for organizing
China¡¯s beyond 3G R&D activities.
