Dr. Qu Hua, senior member of China Institute Of Communications (CIC) and Chinese Institute Of Electronics (CIE), IEEE member. He has been engaged in research; teaching and technical engineering in systems and networks of communications for more than 20 years. Based on his experience taking part in periods of great and rapid development of the communication & information industry in China during the past more than 20 years, Now he research in ICT, focused on: network management for broadband; multi-layer transport network technology; broadband switching technology; next generation network and etc. The research projects are mainly sponsored by the National High-Tech R&D Program of China (863 Program, MST of China); and National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), and also sponsored by key research projects in science and technology development of Ministry of Information Industry (MII). For further international relation, he has been to U.S.A., Germany, Switzerland, Japan, Korea and some other counties in recent years for technical exchange, lecture and co-operation. With achieved experience in research, professional teaching and technical engineering in related communications, He is a member of the communication software commission of CIC and the communication commission of CIE, and the communication and network expert commission of CIE; He also acts as a member in Chinese expert group to ITU-T meeting, a member of teaching guidance commission of communications or similar specialties among the universities of posts and telecommunications and the evaluation expert group of the national key labs in China.
