Prof. Chen Junliang graduated from the Department
of Telecommunications, Shanghai Jiaotung University in 1955 and received
Doctor of Engineering degree from the Moscow Institute of Electrical
Telecommunications, former Soviet Union in 1961. He was a visiting
scholar in the University of California at Berkeley and also at Los
Angeles£¬USA from 1978 to 1981.
He has been working in the Beijing University of Posts and
Telecommunications (BUPT) since 1955. Currently, he is a professor
of BUPT. He was elected as a member of Chinese Academy of Sciences
in 1991, and a member of Chinese Academy of Engineering in 1994.
His current research interests include network intelligence, switching
technology, communication software and fault-tolerant computing.
He was awarded the National Prizes of first degree and third degree
for Scientific and Technological Advances and several times of Ministerial
Prizes for Scientific and Technological Advances.
